Instructions

The medication is injected under the skin (subcutaneously) of your stomach (abdomen), thigh, or upper arm and should be used 1 time each week, at any time of the day. 

The medication is vialized for easy use and dose flexibility. 

Instructions are included with your regimen and should be used as directed.

Side Effects

We recommend starting at a lower dose and graduating according to the dosing schedule to help minimize side effects while your body adjusts to the medication. 

Common side effects include nausea, diarrhea, and vomiting. 

Experiences are unique; however, side effects are a common part of the weight loss journey and should subside over the first month.

How do I sign up?

To get started, simply complete the IVUSE Questionnaire to see if you're a good candidate for our program.

How long before I see results?

Everyone's body is unique and results cannot be guaranteed.  On average, IVUSE Members lose 2-9 lbs per week, and up to 20% of their total body weight within 3-6 months.

Do you require labwork?

Labs help your clinician to better understand your medical history and the best treatment path for you. If you’ve recently done lab work, we’ll accept it. If you don’t have recent labs, your clinician will determine if you’re a good candidate for medical weight loss.

Do you take insurance?

We accept HSA / FSA. We also support Afterpay, Cherry, and CareCredit payment alternatives.

When will I receive my medication?

Please allow 2-4 BUSINESS days for payment and prescription processing, and 1-2 BUSINESS days for shipping.

What side effects should I expect?

IVUSE provides a variety of different weight management medications tailored to your unique biology, behaviors, and preferences. We will work with you to explain the specific side effects you could encounter with your specific medications. However, the most common side effects are, but not limited to nausea, headache, dehydration and constipation.

Do I need to make changes to my diet?

Most of the medications that our clinicians prescribe are appetite suppressants, which means that you may not feel the same level of cravings that you typically do. Remember, a balanced diet and regular exercise should be included as normal parts to any weight management program.
