Dosing Schedule

KPV is dosed at 5 units once daily, injected subcutaneously, for eight consecutive weeks. Your 1.40 mL vial holds 140 units, which is 28 doses, so one vial covers exactly four weeks and a full course is two vials. There is nothing to feel acutely. Changes tend to arrive gradually through the first month, with most of the effect showing up by the end of week eight.

Active Course
5units 1x daily / 7 days per week
Weeks 9 – 12
Off Period

Do Not Adjust
5 units daily is the protocol. Do not increase, decrease, skip, or double a dose without speaking to your prescribing provider.
Tip: Pick a time you can hold. KPV has no stimulant effect, so no hour of the day is better or worse. What matters is taking it every day at roughly the same time for the full eight weeks. Set a recurring alarm for the first week until the habit sticks.
Who should not take KPV. Do not use if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, being treated for an active malignancy, or have a known hypersensitivity to alpha-MSH derived peptides. Disclose your full medical history and every medication or peptide you take during your telehealth intake.

Course Structure

KPV runs eight weeks on followed by four weeks off. The active weeks are continuous, with no rest days built into the week. The four-week break afterward is part of the protocol rather than an optional extra, and it gives your body a reset before the next course begins.

Do not skip days. KPV works by lowering how much inflammatory protein your cells transcribe, and that depends on steady daily exposure. One missed day will not undo your progress. A pattern of gaps will blunt the result. If you miss a dose, take it later that same day and carry on as normal. Do not double up the next day.
Vial planning: Your first vial runs out on day 28, at the end of week four. Order your second vial during week three so it is in your fridge before you need it and the course does not stall halfway.

Reorder KPV

One vial covers four weeks. Order your second vial before the first one runs out so there are no gaps in your eight-week course.

Daily Quick Reference

Follow these steps for each injection. If this is your first time, review the Injection Tutorial for a full walkthrough.

Wash hands thoroughly with soap and water.
  • 02
Draw 5 units into your syringe. Do not adjust the dose on your own.

Clean the injection site with an alcohol swab. Rotate between abdomen and thigh each day.
  • 04
Pinch the skin and insert the needle at a 45-degree angle.
  • 05
Inject slowly to reduce any stinging sensation at the site.
  • 06
Dispose of the syringe in a sharps container. Never recap or reuse needles.
  • 07
Mark the day so you know where you are in the eight-week course.
